The Family Child Care Environment Rating Scale (FCCERS-R) is a nationally recognized scale that assesses the quality of family child care programs. In this 4-part series participants will learn about the FCCERS-R and how to use it for self-assessment. Participants will evaluate their own program and begin to create an action plan to make quality changes in their home child care environment. Each registered participant MUST attend all 4 online live sessions and complete all class assignments. If you miss an online live session you have dropped the course and must retake the entire series. Home child care providers can earn points on the Iowa Quality Rating System (QRS) by attending this series. CEU credit is available for an additional fee.
