  • The National Sheep Symposium brought sheep production experts from across the United States to the Clay County Fairgrounds in Spencer, Iowa on July 27 and 28, 2012. The symposium, was titled “Using Technology to Attack the Let’s Grow with twoPLUS Initiative," joined with the initiative’s campaign to encourage current producers to expand their sheep numbers by 2014.

  • The Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) certification was established as a program of the American Society of Agronomy (ASA) in 1992, with the first certifications awarded in 1993. The CCA program was established to provide a benchmark for practicing agronomy professionals in the United States and Canada.

    The CCA program is voluntary, providing a base level of standards through testing and raising that standard through continuing education.
